Argan Oil plus Moringa Oil

Maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s argan oil.. plus moringa oil?  Okay, that didn’t work out as well as I planned!  Along with our more natural & plant-based kitchen we’re making small steps towards a more chemical-free household, baby steps.

Speaking of baby steps, check out this super cute baby bottle of CHI Argan Oil Plus Moringa Oil that I found in the 5 for $5 section at Ulta.  I’ve been wanting to try Argan Oil for my hair, but haven’t able to find anything in my price range.  I also didn’t want to spend a small fortune on something that I had never tried before!  Perfect! 0.5 fl oz for $1!  I’ll take it!  Actually, I bought 5!  I thought they would be good stocking stuffers, but I might go back for more for myself!

Beauty benefits of Argan Oil: adds moisture to dry hair, as well as shine, calms frizzy fly-aways.   It can be used as a leave-in conditioner or as a styling product.

Beauty Benefits of Moringa Oil: The favorable effects of moringa seed oil for healthy hair have been appreciated since ancient times. It is highly effectual in cleansing and purifying the hair and protects it from environmental damage, including ultra violet radiation. It serves as a valuable conditioner for the scalp, strengthens the roots, and stimulates hair growth. (source)

I am currently on day 3 of application and I can definitely feel the difference when I run my hands through my hair.  It feels so soft and silky!  Also, when I take my wool scarf off my hair is not all staticy like it has been.  I’ll keep you updated!

Does anyone else have any other natural beauty tips they’d like to share?

  1. I have been using a Moroccan oil repair mask in my hair- do you know what the difference is between the two? Is one better than another? Thanks!
